FULL SERVICE-ISH
Full service, or the full monty, is a term indicating that nothing is left out or that the entire range or extent of something is included. The reason for the ‘ish’ is that Designer Soup does not project manage and is not a general contractor but works with PMs and GCs to manage design execution. This service is for anyone building a new home or sprucing up their current space. We handle everything—from picking out finishes to adding the final touches—whether you're doing a full or partial renovation. We’ll help you figure out what needs to be done, set realistic timelines and budgets, and recommend the right architects and builders.
We’ll come up with a design for your home, find and buy all the furniture, fixtures, and décor, and work closely with the architect and contractor to make sure everything runs smoothly. Designer Soup will also be on-site often to keep things on track. Plus, we offer extras like custom art commissions or floral arrangements from our favorite shops in DC.
Cliff Notes: This is white-glove, yall. Get if you need a lot of construction done.

DESIGN
Need to update your home or space but actually like the space plan or structural layout as-is? There might not be a need for major construction, but there is a huge call to update the look. Is something missing, and you can’t figure out how to implement it? Do you need help with the vision and execution?
Designer Soup will assess your space and create a furniture plan that allows your interior to shine as it is well capable of. In design as a service, Designer Soup will specify furniture, fixtures, and finishes, and create a sourced list and design. All materials and items will then be procured, installed, and styled. Designer Soup will also identify the trades needed for installation, such as wallpaper, upholsterers, carpenters, woodworkers, vintage furniture repair, etc. Depending on the scope and number of rooms, this service can take anywhere from one day to a few days to be completely installed after the design is approved.
Cliff Notes: This can be 1 room or multi rooms with little to no construction.

A DAY OF DESIGN
A day of design is an excellent choice if you are looking for professional guidance and do not necessarily need the bespoke offering of full design service. This works most efficiently for projects with little to no construction in mind for a single room.
One full room (with outlined parameters for scope if it's an open floor plan) will have an entire day at our office dedicated to producing the space you’ve been dreaming of. We’ll share with you the materials, lighting, furniture, and everything else encompassing this room. By the end of the day, your design is delivered to you, fully conveyed in a comprehensive PDF. The document may include links, specific recommendations to vendors and products, design sketches, and visual layouts. Whether it’s a kitchen or a living room, Designer Soup can source everything for you. Finishes, lighting, paint colors, hardware, and other key design elements are to be included.
Cliff Notes: Want to do the shopping and install on your own and just need design? Pick this.

INTERIOR RENDERINGS
Renderings are images that are created to make them more life-like, more real. In some design work, this can be done by hand, with markers, etc., in the form of hand rendering.
Designer Soup offers renderings in all sorts of forms, from hand-rendered to digital 3D renders, to fully immersive 3D build-outs and virtual fly-throughs. Renderings are priced at varying fees depending on the details, scope, and type. Photorealistic images are priced per view or perspective. It is common to have 2-3 rendered views for a single room. Virtual fly-throughs are 2-10 minute videos generated through model building and material rendering to create a life-like visual before the design is approved. Renderings can take anywhere from 1-3 months to build and finalize. Design development must be fully underway before successful visuals of a space can be formed.
Cliff Notes: If you have a hard time visualizing things fully and struggle with trust, this is for you.
