DUPONT STUDIO RE-DEFINED | WASHINGTON, DC

The functionality of this once single studio space was not meeting the lifestyle needs of the young couple’s work/life balance. Privacy, a quiet sleeping area, storage organization, and multiple zones for flexible work from home space were top on the list. Incorporating hobby and lifestyle needs were important as well, as the couple enjoy reading, cooking and gardening. Lifting the visual weight off of the floor was a design principal that increased the volume of storage. It also built the opportunity to display important and memorable objects throughout the space to admire. Brining the character and persona of the now converted single semi-private bedroom condo to life.
